My client is an extremely innovative company and global industry leader. This person will be part of a team that will support, oversee, and improve the production processes, tooling, equipment, and materials related to the overall operation. This is a hands-on operations support position requiring a strong technical background and project management skills to work effectively with other departments and individuals to meet company goals and objectives.
Essential Functions:
Support, troubleshoot, and problem solve issues with production processes and equipment
Manage & support the install of new equipment which also includes the training of associates in safe and efficient operation of the equipment. Lead improvement initiatives that reduce cost, improve quality, and improve delivery
Develop/design fixtures, tools, processes or machines that enhance work flow, improve productivity and reduce costs. Review production equipment, hardware, and tooling & make recommendations for repairs or replacement.
The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience and 4+ years experience. General characteristics will include: naturally a curious person, fix-it mentality, loves to troubleshoot, mechanically inclined, continuous improvement mindset, wants to be on factory floor and not behind a desk and Solidworks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
This is a fulltime/perm role. Very nice compensation package.
